I met Joene during a Kirkland Chamber of Commerce and Kirkland Downtown Association Award luncheon. Joene inquired how she could bring more pop to the images that she was posting on the web. After a few recommendations, Joene was able to implement the edits onto her images. She next wanted a whole new look for her website which would require updated photos.

We meet for coffee and talked about her company and how it was formed and what started her path to creating art with colorful beads. It began when Joene was celebrating her birthday in Paris when she met a woman who invited her to the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans. Upon her return back to the States, Joene discovered she had cancer.
