Volterra Restaurant hosted a fundraiser for the “Clean Water Foundation”. Guests were treated to an Italian brunch provided by Don Curtiss of Volterra and music by Dean Backholm and Lisa Aery.

The “Clean Water Foundation” was begun over 20 years ago by Leon McLaughlin when he saw the need for clean water as traveled through Mexico and other parts of the world.

The event raised over $3000 which help to purchase water filter units and two wind turbines. The water filters will be delivered to the Hopi and Navajo reservations in Arizona.
